Pitch Black is the fifth Mega Evolution set and the darkest so far, in tone and in what it asks you to chase. 120 cards across the main set and the secret rares.

Mega Darkrai ex is the reason most people are opening this one. It appears twice: as a Special Illustration Rare at number 116, and as the Mega Hyper Rare at 120, the only gold card in the set. Five more Mega Evolution ex sit behind it, Zeraora, Chandelure, Excadrill, Delphox and Slowbro.

Each display holds 36 packs. Every pack carries 10 cards, a Basic Energy and a code card for Pokémon TCG Live. The 36 secret rares break down as 18 Ultra Rares, 11 Illustration Rares, 6 Special Illustration Rares and that single Hyper Rare.
